Having worked in various HR generalist and managerial positions over the past 13 years for both New Zealand and international companies, I draw on experience in employment relations, recruitment, strategic HR planning, performance management, reward and recognition, culture and engagement, leadership development, coaching, training and facilitation.
Running my own consultancy business in Mount Maunganui, where my family moved in 2014, allows me to enjoy the lifestyle, community and beauty of this special corner of the world while working with local businesses and sharing the skills I have learned in to the corporate world to grow the best people and the best workplaces in the Bay.

Megan Davies

I am a people person.  Building effective, credible and trusted relationships is very important to me and I am passionate about working in partnership with great businesses to achieve great outcomes.  I have over 20 years HR generalist experience in both the public and private sector and have worked in New Zealand, England and Wales; over 16 of those years have been working at a senior HR level, leading HR teams in complex environments.
I am experienced in both New Zealand and UK employment legislation, and skilled in strategic HR planning, change management, redeployment, redundancy, collective bargaining, disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance and absence management, strategic resourcing, recruitment, selection, psychometric assessment, remuneration methodologies, training and facilitation.  I have a special interest in mentoring and coaching and am a qualified NLP Practitioner.
I spent many years living in the UK, and returned with my family to my hometown of Tauranga in 2014.  I am excited to work with businesses whose values align with mine so we can achieve great things together.
